These
two photos show that the explosions of Yucca Flat
were very visible and that the soldiers who
attended the spectacle distrusted hardly these
effects, thinking that the bomb made its crater
and its damages on the scene even of the
explosion, destroying everything on its base,
without knowing that the radiant wave propagated
everything all around on a very long
circumference helped also by the projections of
sand notably. According
to certain testimonies, Snow Canyon's site, where
were shooted a majority of the picture's
scenes " The Conqueror " ,
grew red at night of part its content in
radioactivity
When the scientists noticed
in the long run these mortal effects, it was too
late. The cast of the film suffers from these
radiations, but it stayed on the spot only three
months. It is easy to imagine that the local
population has suffer of consequences a long time
as well as the soldiers and the public of these
photos
